About The AFC Upper Room

afc-upper-room-square-screensizeThe Ambassadors For Christ (AFC) Upper Room Ministries is a student organization at Saint Xavier University that was founded in 1998 by Saint Xavier Alum Pastor Corey Camphor.

The name Upper Room Ministries comes from the book of Acts chapter 2, when the apostles were in the Upper Room praying and the Holy Spirit came into the room and came upon all that were in the room. It was given this name because this is what literally happened at the first Bible study back in 1998.

Our mission is to be light on the Saint Xavier University campus and put Jesus Christ on display through our various events and talents such as singing, stepping and dancing.

Our events include weekly Bible studies and rap sessions. We have made the Bible the ultimate guide for our lives come and join us as we follow Christ.
